Yin/Yang yoga begins with a gentle energizing of the body. We warm up by moving the body, breathing with controll and exploring ranges of motion with foundational yoga postures intended to effect muscular tissues. After we get the chi (energy) flowing freely, we begin stretching and use longer held postures intended to effect the connective tissues in the body. This change of energy and internal focus of the mind has a profound calming effect. This class is approachable for any physical ability.
