Bryan Christian

Bryan has been practicing yoga for 14 years and completed his 300 hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training in Bali under the training of Samasti Yoga and Janet Stone. It was in these trainings that he learned that daily sadhana (practice) of the eight limbs of yoga including asana (the physical practice), pranayama (expansion of the breath), dhyana (meditation), yamas, niyamas, as well as the other limbs provided a healthier and happier life with more purpose, clarity, and presence. Bryan’s classes range from Vinyasa Flow to Yin/Restorative and include a hyperawareness on the breath (through pranayama practices), anatomy/physiology, yoga philosophy, and mantra.

He currently is studying in a doctoral program at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland on his journey to become a Naturopathic Doctor. Bryan blends his extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology with yoga philosophy within his classes. His classes are challenging, but yet approachable for even those new to yoga. His classes are designed to allow students to confront their physical and mental boundaries in a way that nourishes the body and strengthens the physical container, mind, and breath. Bryan’s deep devotion to yoga and to helping heal others by leading from the heart continues to strengthen his practice and studies. When there is devotion within the heart and stillness within the mind even the most unobtainable can be achieved.
