I started yoga because I was weak. At a party 18 year ago, a lifetime ago, I could not open a jar of pickles. That woke me. I didn’t know anything about yoga, but thought it would be a good preparation for “real” exercise. I never graduated to real exercise.

As I deepened my yoga practice, I realize the benefits of the mental, emotional, and spiritual components. When I’ve been lost in darkness, yoga provided a beacon, a harbor in the tempest until I could see light again. Clearing and calming the mind provide a respite and reset to the chaos of short-attention-span thoughts. Yoga helps temper failings and weaknesses, focus on balance and joy.

Let's explore movement, shift the concept of poses from peak ideals to waypoints in a journey of flow. Let's get lost. Let's get found.
