YIN
Yin is a yoga practice designed to ease our active bodies and minds. Yin affects the deeper fibers of our connective tissue to give us a serene, relaxating effect. Postures are practiced on the floor in a seated or lying position, with each being held for 3 to 5 minutes. Yin is the perfect compliment classes like Vinyasa and Power Yoga, to help keep our bodies recover, allowing us to practice yoga for years to come.
RESTORATIVE & NIDRA
Appropriate for all yogis, regardless of experience and physical capability , Restorative yoga is all about holding passive postures for an extended period of time, using different props to support the body while letting go of any tension, allowing gravity to unwind and relax the body while de-stressing the whole person. Yoga Nidra, is a guided meditation that further helps the whole person relax and come into complete balance - physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually - guiding you into a yogic sleep like state with a trace of awareness.
INTUITIVE HEALING
In linking directly to the healing power of Source, clients are guided to connect with their true heart, rebalancing and clearing old patterns, restoring joy, self-connectedness, inner peace and inherent wisdom. Sessions are simple and pure, addressing whatever arises in the moment. Sessions focus, but are not limited to,stabilization of mood, optimizing health and well being, instilling groundedness, and providing guidance and tools for effective decision-making in every day life and often bring clients a joyful self-contentment that is both energizing and calming.
REIKI
The word Reiki means “mysterious atmosphere, miraculous sign.” It comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” meaning life energy. Reiki is a type of energy healing. Energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or emotional pain. In time, these energy blocks can cause illness and an inability to move through traumatic experiences that happen throughout our lifetime. Reiki aims to help the flow of energy and remove blocks in a similar way to acupuncture or acupressure.
SLOW FLOW
Slow flow explores longer holding postures to engage the muscles and cultivate strength and flexibility. This class is designed to balance your mind and go deeper into the breath using slower, progressive posture sequences. Great for new students or experienced students who are looking to take their practice to the next level.
HATHA
This style class helps build a strong core from which one can transition into new positions and exercises. This flow centers around control and precision, with a diversity of exercises and modifications to suit a wide range of levels from beginner to advanced. With this class, you will learn and practice the tools needed to lead a healthy and fit lifestyle, while also remaining mindful in every act you perform.
VINYASA
POWER YOGA
This dynamic class links breath with movement and incorporates a continuous flow of postures. A vigorous style of yoga, Vinyasa will test your strength, balance and flexibility, while creating internal heat.
This popular class is based on the belief that mental and physical health are interrelated, and should be conditioned together. All of the classes at Yoga on Yamhill attempt to coordinate breathing and physical movement, improve focus and concentration, and help participants regain control of their body and mind.

CANNABIS YOGA
Elevate your yoga by combining ceremonial chemistry, Jungian encounter with deep stretching and relaxation. Enjoy tis avant garde and trippy journey to ultimate relaxation and inner peace. Students may partake their product(s) of choice before or during the first 15 minutes of class.
